Introduction
CAD/CAM is the name of the innovative technology that automates the processes of manufacturing dental restorations. CAD/CAM is an abbreviation of words Computer - Aided Design (design using computer technology) and Computer - Aided Manufacturing (fabrication using computer technology).
This process relies on the following:
3Shape Dental System
Dental System is a computer software that lets us focus on craftsmanship and creativity while the software does the rest.
Easy to use, the dental CAD/CAM software will enable us to become more productive and provide high end services such as Co-Cr metal framework designs, individual trays for full and partial dentures, bite splints, surgical guides and much more.
3D Scanner
The 3D scanner we use is designed to achieve accuracy and detail levels needed in dental technology.
With 2 cameras with reduced angle enables impressions, full undercuts are being scanned effectively. The 3-axis motion system tilts, rotates and translates the object, facilitating scanning from any viewpoint - more than 350 degrees of a sphere.
Texture Scanning captures 2D images of the model surface and precisely overlays these on the 3D model, enhancing visualization of surface details and allowing our technicians to include hand-drawn design guidance markings in the digital design.
3D Printer
The Asiga Printer is easy to integrate into the digital workflow using ethernet and WiFi connections within the our organization’s network. Thanks to the high accuracy and the possibility of the open material system, this printer is ideal for Digital Dentistry.
The Printer can be used in producing Co-Cr removable partial denture prints, individual trays for full and partial dentures, try-in prototypes for dentures, drilling templates (surgical guides), dental models.
